SUMMARY:
We propose a novel application of MR encephalography (MREG) to detect the frequency spectrum of endogenous slow oscillatory brain activity (delta, <4 Hz). MREG offers faster image acquisition than conventional fMRI and superior spatial localization than electroencephalography/magnetoencephalography.
