We read with great interest the article by Barb et al. entitled “Accuracy of fully automated iliac artery tortuosity measurements in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm using deep learning” [1], published in the European Journal of Radiology. The authors are to be congratulated for providing a large, multicenter external validation of an automated approach addressing a complex vascular morphometric parameter.
